Edison Rallies Past Westminster Girls

Stacee Johnson scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help Edison battle back from a three-point halftime deficit and take a 64-55 Sunset League victory over Westminster Friday in the Lions’ gym.

Westminster held 29-26 lead at the half. The Chargers, however, got their fast break going in the third quarter and outscored the Lions by 12 to take a nine-point lead going into the fourth quarter.

Kristen Wilson, with 11 points, and Kris Herman (10) also keyed the Chargers, who improved their league record to 3-3 and season mark to 16-6.

Devon Akita led all scorers with 24 for Westminster (2-4).
