Colgate-Palmolive said it had a net loss of $33.51 million in the fourth quarter, narrower than the $91.1-million loss that it reported a year earlier. The most recent quarter’s results reflect a loss of $62.45 million from the disposal of discontinued operations. A year earlier, the consumer products company had a special charge of $174 million for restructuring. Net income for the year rose 52.9% from a year earlier.
