MOVING RIGHT ALONG: Van Halen (whose new album is titled “5150,” not “5051,” as we reported last week) kicks off an eight-month American tour March 27 in Shreveport, La. (with the possibility of some L.A. dates as early as this summer). A Van Halen spokesman said that in addition to being the name of Eddie Van Halen’s studio, “5150” is also the local police code for reporting the sighting of a “mentally disturbed person.” There is apparently no truth to the rumor that it’s also David Lee Roth’s hat size. . . . And talk about minimalism: Ex-Wall of Voodoo vocalist Stan Ridgeway’s new video, “Drive She Said,” was shot in black-and-white Super 8 film. Directed by Andrew Doucette, the clip features Ridgeway as a cabdriver (behind the wheel of an ancient Nash Metropolitan) who is taxi-jacked by a seductive female bank robber.
