AirCal’s service between Seattle and Anchorage, Alaska, originally scheduled to begin March 1, will be inaugurated on May 15, the Newport Beach-based regional airline said Thursday.
The carrier will fly a pared-down schedule of two round-trip flights each weekday from May 15 until June 1, AirCal said, with a full schedule of four daily round-trip flights beginning June 1. A reduced schedule will operate on Saturdays and Sundays.
Start-up of the Seattle-to-Anchorage route was delayed because of what AirCal called “operational considerations,” including a delay in completion of facilities at the two airports.
