Eight University of Illinois football players have been disciplined by Coach Mike White, and two of them face criminal charges after a disturbance at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house Saturday.

The Champaign County state’s attorney’s office accused Michael Scully of Mount Prospect and Jeffrey Markland of Los Angeles with crashing a party and injuring several people. Markland is charged with two counts of felony aggravated battery and two counts of misdemeanor battery. Scully is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery.
