Shav Glick Wins Award for Amy Alcott Story
Times writer Shav Glick’s story on golfer Amy Alcott has been named the best feature story of 1985 by the Golf Writers Assn. of America.
Glick’s winning story profiled the one-time child prodigy of golf whose success on the tour has made her a millionaire. The story appeared in the Times on March 31, 1985.
