Ask Mr. Foster Lists Expansion

Ask Mr. Foster, the nation’s second-largest chain of travel agencies, announced that its list of associates--independent travel agencies that license the company’s name--has grown to 109.

The associates program, begun in September, 1984, is intended to give the Van Nuys-based company a presence in small to medium-sized markets. The company, which also owns 272 branches, now operates offices or has associates in 40 states. Including its associates, Ask Mr. Foster’s sales last year exceeded $880 million.
