Eastern is seeking an injunction against a union.

The carrier asked a judge to force the union representing flight attendants to resume counting ballots in a ratification vote of a contract. On Wednesday, Robert Callahan, president of the union, refused to count ballots, charging that the Miami-based carrier changed the wording of the original agreement. In Miami, U.S. District Judge Eugene Spellman set a hearing for today to hear arguments on the injunction sought by Eastern Airlines lawyers.
