I’ve watched with interest the meteoric career of talented young actor Marc Singer, star of “Beastmaster” ( with costar Tanya Roberts, above ) , “Dallas,” and that show with all the lizards, “V , “ and I have a question. Does Singer have a clause written into his contracts that he can only perform naked from the waist up? His screen presence always seems to be sans chemise.

Hey, Wendy, you forgot to mention the 1981 TV movie “For Ladies Only,” in which Singer played a male stripper. All this exposure aside, Singer’s agent assured us that the actor (currently hunking it up on “Dallas”) has no shirtless clause. Singer explained the minimal clothing habit this way: “Why do they always cut the budget when it comes to my wardrobe?”
