Company Buys Poway Acreage
It took five years of planning and procedural actions, but the purchase by Cadillac Fairview Industrial Development Inc. of 660 acres of land will dramatically alter the future course of development in the southern San Diego County city of Poway.
That’s the opinion of Poway Mayor Carl Kruse, referring to the transaction in the South Poway Planning Area, part of a 2,400-acre planned commercial/industrial community.
The property has a transfer tax value of $10 million, according to records, and about 275 usable acres of it east of Pomerado Road and south of Poway Road will be the site of the Pomerado Business Park.
