EECO Shows Turnaround in Net For First Quarter
EECO Inc. said Wednesday that its operations experienced a turnaround during the quarter ended March 31 and it posted net earnings of $510,000, compared to a loss of $141,000 during the same quarter last year. The Santa Ana-based manufacturer of switches and computer systems said first-quarter revenue rose 9% to $13.5 million from $12.4 million a year ago. Company officials said the sales increase, particularly of its switch products, was the reason for the turnaround, which they expect to continue throughout 1986.
