40 Forced to Flee Fire at Colorado Fraternity

GOLDEN, Colo. — An early morning fire Wednesday forced the evacuation of a Colorado School of Mines fraternity house, the seventh in a string of suspicious fraternity house fires in Colorado since last September. Fire officials said 40 people in the Sigma Phi Epsilon House were evacuated after flames engulfed two couches in the living room. One student was treated for smoke inhalation.
