Dale Williams has been named to head the newly created Tokyo-based Far Eastern branch of Rockwell International’s Semiconductor Products Division. Williams, who had been vice president of marketing and domestic sales for the Newport Beach-based operation, will also serve as vice president of Rockwell-Collins International, a Rockwell subsidiary.
Williams is being replaced by Joseph Mader, a former vice president of marketing at Western Digital in Irvine.
Gilbert F. Amelio, president of the Semiconductor Products Division, said the changes are part of a series of moves designed to strengthen Rockwell’s presence in the world semiconductor market.
