Chagall Stolen in France

FONTENAY-SOUS-BOIS, France —
A Marc Chagall painting worth about $43,000 was stolen Tuesday from the town hall at Fontenay-sous-Bois, outside Paris, police said. The painting, “The Man of the Torah,” had been a gift to the town from a citizen.
