An Anaheim man was killed Saturday and his younger brother injured when their pickup truck ran off the road and overturned several times, throwing the two from the vehicle, the Highway Patrol said Sunday.

Charles Chapman, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department paramedics. His brother Terry, 23, of Buena Park suffered moderate injuries and was treated and released from Saddleback Community Hospital.

The accident occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Trabuco Creek Road just north of Trabuco Canyon near a Boy Scouts of America campground, CHP Officer Scott Lee said. The two apparently had been driving south about 35 to 40 m.p.h. when Chapman lost control of the truck and ran off the road, Lee said.
