Santa Ana : Youth Fatally Stabbed After Fight at Party
An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death early Saturday at a neighborhood party in the 1200 block of West Santa Ana Boulevard.
Santa Ana Police Lt. Jack Nelson said the death of Edward Peralta of Santa Ana was “very possibly gang-related.”
Nelson said that the incident began at a large party at 1231 W. Santa Ana Blvd. when a fight broke out between Peralta and several other teen-agers. Peralta fled the party, running to the front yard of 1213 W. Santa Ana Blvd., where he was stabbed in the stomach, Nelson said. He was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Several witnesses from the party were questioned at the Santa Ana police station and released, Nelson said. The investigation is continuing.
