Eugene C. Pace of Costa Mesa has been elected to the board of directors of Riverside Thrift & Loan Assn. Pace, 46, who assumes a newly created board seat, is an expert in jojoba bean research and is president of U.S. Agri Research & Development Corp. and of Bioextractional Technology Inc. Also named to the thrift and loan’s board was Robert M. McCune of Corona. McCune, 74, one of the largest dairy brokers in the West, owns Bob McCune & Associates and is a director for the California Milk Producers and the Dairy Council of California. He replaces Ed Talley, who left the board but remains as a vice president.
