Quake Hits Kernville Area

KERNVILLE, Calif. — A minor earthquake was reported near Lake Isabella early Sunday, but authorities reported no damage or injuries.
The earthquake registered 4.0 on the Richter scale and hit at 4:42 a.m. about 130 miles northeast of Los Angeles, according to the University of California Seismographic Station at Berkeley.
