Iran Strangler Kills Self

TEHRAN —
A man who confessed to more than 40 murders, most of them by strangling young women, has strangled himself in prison, the newspaper Ettelaat said Sunday. The paper said that Majid Salek Mahmoudi, 33, dubbed the “Tehran Strangler,” hanged himself with a strip of blanket in his cell at Tehran’s Qasr Prison.
