George Hansen, a former Republican congressman from Idaho, was ordered to report to a federal prison Friday to begin serving a five-to-15 month sentence for filing false financial disclosure statements to Congress. U.S. District Judge Joyce Hens Green, reversing a decision she made Monday, said the 55-year-old Hansen would report to the Petersburg (Va.) Camp, a minimum security prison, by 3 p.m. Friday to begin serving the sentence. Two days ago, Green stayed her order for Hansen to report to the prison farm by Thursday.
