The adopted son of a millionaire tobacco executive was convicted in Los Angeles federal court of molesting a 3-year-old girl he had brought to this country from his native Ecuador. Luis Albert Gillespie, 35, faces a possible 15-year prison term and fines of up to $10,000. His adoptive father, David Gillespie, 51, is president of a tobacco import-export firm in Vancouver, Canada.
