A U-shaped atrium with two major pedestrian arch entries is a major design element in the $17-million, 100,000-square-foot Ocean Park Plaza under construction at 2701 Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica.
A development of Ersa Grae Corp., Houston, the complex in the Santa Monica Business Park next to the Santa Monica Airport was designed by Lloyd Jones Fillpot Associates Architects, Houston, and Solberg + Lowe Architects Inc., Santa Monica.
The site was acquired through Chesshire Gibson Fowler of Beverly Hills. Permanent financing is being provided by General Electric Credit and General Electric Real Estate Equities Inc., firms that are also joint-venture partners with Ersa Grae.
