Bilingual Social Workers Meet
An intensive seven-week Spanish language program to strengthen social workers’ bilingual skills is being offered by the UCLA School of Social Welfare. The program is designed to improve professional counseling services to Spanish-speaking clients, according to Gloria Waldinger, director of the school’s program in postgraduate education and development. Thirty-six social workers are participating.
