Let’s Hear It for the Ospreys!
Your sports section July 25 carried a story about ospreys taking fish from the state hatchery in Shasta County. At least the ospreys fishing is sustenance fishing, while the human fishermen are like the gunmen who kill other wildlife: They hook fish for “sport.”
I’m on the side of the ospreys.
