3 U.S. Soldiers Drown in S. Korea Training

SEOUL, South Korea — Three U.S. soldiers drowned while fording a river during a night training exercise north of Seoul, an American military spokesman said Wednesday.
The spokesman identified the three as 2nd Lt. Reginald F. Montgomery of Charleston, S.C., Staff Sgt. James G. Marshall of Springfield, Ore., and Sgt. Donald R. Stewart of East Patch, N.Y. They had been reported missing on Monday.
