IT’S FOR YOU, WALLY

When we phoned the production offices of “The New Leave It to Beaver” show (for WTBS this fall), we heard “Cleaver residence”--just the way June Cleaver used to greet callers in the old days.

“We answer all the phones like that,” said exec producer Brian Levant. “We figure if they don’t get it, then we don’t want to talk to ‘em.”
