Carolyn Waldo earned her second gold medal Saturday, teaming with Michelle Cameron to win the synchronized duet routine at the World Swimming Championships.

Waldo and Cameron, both of Canada, produced a series of spins and perfectly matched maneuvers that earned them a total score of 99.

“That was a major thrill to win the routine,” said Waldo, who earlier won a gold in the solo event. “We’re very happy with the mark we got tonight. We’re a fairly new duet, and the competition was really tough.”
