Anaheim : Molestation Suspect to Be Arraigned Today
A 34-year-old Anaheim man is scheduled to be arraigned today on 71 counts of molesting young boys that he had allegedly invited into his home beginning as early as 1982, police said.
Steven Paris was arrested in Anaheim last week after a mother told police she believed that Paris had molested her son, a police spokesman said Sunday.
The investigation was widened after other parents came forward and complained about suspicious activities between the suspect and their children.
He is suspected of child molestation, sodomy and oral copulation with seven boys between the ages of 5 and 11, police said.
Paris is a bus driver for Airport Service Inc. in Anaheim, a shuttle service from hotels in Orange and Los Angeles counties to major airports, police said.
Paris remains in Orange County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
