‘Tale of Two Justices’
The Times’ transparent attempt to insert Rose Bird into the vortex of a successful Rehnquist confirmation deceives no one.
The “we’ll hold our nose and swallow your candidate--if you’ll have mercy on ours” approach, should trigger a statewide guffaw.
Nothing is going to save Rose Bird from being shredded on Nov. 4.
