Clock Construction Co. of Irvine recently completed the new Irvine headquarters for Freedom Newspapers Inc., publisher of the Orange County Register.
The $2.5-million, one-story structure contains 37,000 square feet for offices, meeting rooms, computer operations, main lobby and reception areas, gymnasium, lunch facilities and storage areas. It is built in a C shape and each private office opens onto a landscaped courtyard. The headquarters also contains underground parking.
Freedom Newspapers has occupied the new building since July 11. The company previously maintained its main offices in Santa Ana.
