TV Anchor Pauley, Cartoonist Trudeau Parents of Boy
NEW YORK — Jane Pauley, co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” show, and her husband, cartoonist Garry Trudeau, are the new parents of a baby boy, an NBC spokeswoman said today.
Kathy Graham said Pauley has not yet given a name to the 7-pound, 6-ounce infant. She and Trudeau, creator of the “Doonesbury” comic strip, are the parents of twins, Richard Ross and Rachel, born Dec. 30, 1983.
No details concerning the location and time of the birth were available, Graham said.
Pauley plans to return to the “Today” show Oct. 10, marking her 10th anniversary with the program she co-anchors with Bryant Gumbel, Graham said.
