Tylan Corp., a money-losing silicon wafer manufacturer, announced a management restructuring that installs turnaround specialist Kenneth Cleveland as president and chief executive. Charles F. Drexel continues as chairman.

Cleveland will report to a newly formed executive committee made up of William F. Kieschnick, Edward F. Phillippi Jr. and Drexel. Kieschnick, former president of Atlantic Richfield Co., and Phillippi, chairman of Jedsan Inc. and former president and chief executive of Excellon Industries, serve as Tylan directors. William E. Standring Jr., executive vice president, will assume responsibilities for overseeing Tylan’s European operations.
