Arciero Buys Development
Arciero & Sons Inc. has purchased the $40-million, 96-lot Weaver Ranch custom-home development in Diamond Bar from Continental Development of California, a unit of Southern California Savings.
Encompassing more than 130 acres, the development was named after Harvey Weaver, a breeder of Shetland ponies, who purchased the site in the early 1950s.
The 33 lots in the first phase average one-acre in area and are priced from $120,000 to $220,000, according to Frank Arciero Sr., president of the Anaheim-based development firm.
To ensure the exclusive nature of the twin gate-guarded hillside community, architectural controls will be enforced to set each house apart from the surrounding ones, he added.
