PREP FOOTBALL : Strozier Leads Savanna, 12-0

Savanna High School running back Stacy Strozier scored two touchdowns and ran for more than 100 yards for the second straight week Thursday night to lead the Rebels to a 12-0 victory over Rancho Alamitos in a nonleague game at Bolsa Grande High.

Strozier, who finished with 113 yards in 17 carries, scored on a four-yard run on the Rebels’ second play from scrimmage after the Vaqueros fumbled away the opening kickoff at their 22-yard line. Strozier’s second score came on a 30-yard run on the final play of the third quarter. Both conversion attempts were runs and both failed.
