USD High School Joins Top 10 After 44-12 Win
SAN DIEGO — University of San Diego High School, 4-0 after beating St. Augustine 44-12 Friday, joins The Times’ Top 10 as the ninth-ranked team this week.
Four teams from last week’s poll lost, affecting the rankings. Orange Glen fell from seventh to 10th after losing, 38-7, to Torrey Pines; Poway dropped from the Top 10 after a 17-3 loss to Mount Carmel, as did University City, No. 9 last week, which lost to Mira Mesa, 31-0.
Vista, which beat Fallbrook, 48-21, remains the top-ranked team.
