Soviet Jet Crashes in Forest; at Least 2 Dead

MOSCOW — A Soviet Aeroflot jetliner with 82 passengers and crew members crash-landed into a forest near the town of Syktyvkar in northeastern Siberia killing at least two people and injuring several others, the weekly Nedelya newspaper said today.
The report did not say when the accident happened. The two victims identified as dying in the crash were both crew members but the newspaper said there were “victims” among passengers as well.
