Traveling in Style
I read with great enjoyment the account of Jerry’s return to Hana. Happy memories of five great vacations spent at the Hotel Hana-Maui flooded my mind. Our first was in 1969 and the last in February, 1985 when the restoration was being planned. My husband and I felt about Hana as did Mark Twain when he wrote of Hawaii: “No alien land in all the world has any deep, strong charm for me but that one....” Heavenly Hana is truly an appropriate term for that peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, enjoyable area of Maui.
