A San Jose schoolteacher has been fined $150 and put on a year’s probation for trying to cash a forged state lottery ticket. Nancy (Elise) Anderson, 41, who was convicted by a jury Oct. 28, was sentenced by Sacramento Municipal Judge Alice Lytle. She maintained her innocence throughout the trial, saying that she found the ticket in her mailbox at school and was unaware it had been altered.
