A San Fernando woman named her baby girl after two police officers--both men--who escorted her and her husband to the hospital as she was about to give birth to the child, San Fernando police said Friday.

Henry and Maria Doyle were on their way to Panorama City Hospital Thursday when Henry Doyle stuck his arm out the window and flagged down a San Fernando patrol car, police said.

Officers Anthony Cox and Robert Parks escorted the couple to nearby San Fernando Community Hospital, where Maria Doyle gave birth to a 6-pound, 10-ounce girl at 4:40 p.m., police said.
