NEW YORK — Deborah Norville, a co-anchor at NBC-owned WMAQ-TV in Chicago, was named Tuesday as anchor of the early-morning “NBC News at Sunrise.” She will succeed Bob Jamison, who will anchor a new business show for NBC News.
Norville will start her new job here on Jan. 5. She has been at WMAQ since 1981, and before that was a weekend anchor at WAGA-TV in Atlanta. She also has worked as a reporter for Georgia’s public television network.
