Reindeer Rounded Up

MODESTO — After vandals cut the fence at a Christmas tree lot, some of Santa’s reindeer got loose early today, but they were tranquilized and put back in their pen. Officers were unsure whether the vandals were teen-agers or animal rights activists who had protested keeping the deer on the lot.
