Local News in Brief : Van Nuys Man Found Shot to Death in Home
A 55-year-old man was shot to death in his Van Nuys apartment, Los Angeles police said.
A friend found the man’s body about 9 p.m. Tuesday in his ground-floor apartment in the 5700 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, Detective Mel Arnold said. The identity of the man, who was shot in the chest, was not released pending notification of his relatives.
Police have no suspects in the case and do not know of a motive for the shooting, Arnold said. No weapon was recovered, he said.
