Landing Aircraft Kills Pilot of Second Plane

KINGSTON, N.Y. — A private plane preparing to land collided with a second plane taking off Sunday, killing the pilot of the second plane, officials said. The plane arriving at Kingston-Ulster Airport was able to land safely and the three people aboard were not injured, authorities said. Officials were investigating the cause of the crash.
