New Air-to-Air AF Missile Passes Three More Tests

WASHINGTON — The Air Force announced Tuesday that three more tests of its new AMRAAM air-to-air combat missile were successful. The testing, performed over the weekend, included experimental firing of two missiles from the same plane, aimed at different targets. One of the missiles reportedly scored a direct hit.
