Christmas Dinners

Temple Israel in Hollywood and the Salvation Army will join in serving 600 dinners to the homeless and lonely from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Rabbi Gary Schoenberg said.

Previously, the dinners had been provided by St. Thomas Episcopal Church, but Schoenberg said that this year “we have offered to undertake this mitzvah (act of charity) so that our friends at St. Thomas can spend their holiday with their families.”
