Bandit Waits His Turn: A robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of money Friday from the Farmers & Merchants Bank at 10422 Garden Grove Blvd., police said. After waiting in line, the man handed the teller a note demanding money and saying that he had a weapon, Dennis Stanfield said. No weapon was seen. After taking the money, the man fled southbound on foot. Stanfield described the man as being in his mid-20s, blond, with green or blue eyes, and was 6 feet, 2 inches tall, about 200 pounds, and had a scar on his nose.
