Miami coach Jimmy Johnson, whose football team meets Penn State Friday in the Fiesta Bowl at Tempe, Ariz., said Saturday night that two of his players didn’t make the trip.

Johnson claiming confidentiality of in-house drug testing, refused to say whether the players had failed the NCAA pre-bowl drug tests. Johnson, however, did say: “all the regulars made the trip.”

The NCAA tests all 22 starters plus 14 others picked randomly for drugs, including anabolic steroids.

On Friday, Penn State Coach Joe Paterno said: “We were tested 10 days ago and nobody showed up with anything.”
