METAL FATIGUE

I’m glad I read Wendy Wixon’s letter (Calendar Letters, Jan. 4), because now I know just how “real” heavy metal is. Knowing that one band might use Clinique and another might use Revlon makes it clear how real their music is.

If I could just figure out those complicated lyrics and guitar riffs I would understand the music and not think it was trash. Then I could be a real cool heavy metaler like everyone else.

PS: I bet you won’t print this because it might ruin the pro-heavy-metal attitude your paper has.
