When in France
Baird and Luther’s trip through France was interesting, but I hope your readers don’t think it is necessary to spend so much time and money in restaurants and for hotels. See fabulous France while you have the opportunity, spend your time and leftover money in expensive restaurants when you get home.
Could they really miss Avignon just because it was raining? Better Avignon and McDonald’s (and dozens of other fascinating towns they missed) than all the time spent in restaurants. Any meal in Europe takes a lot of time, and a $100 meal requires so much time better spent seeing the beauties of France, or wasn’t that why they were there? Hotels and restaurants are necessities that permit one to travel and enjoy a vacation, not the purpose of the vacation.
