Hotel Investors Reports $1.6-Million Profit
Hotel Investors Trust and Hotel Investors Corp., whose shares trade together, reported profits of $1.6 million, or 17 cents a share, for the first quarter ended Nov. 30, compared to $1.2 million, or 30 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
The company, based in Woodland Hills, merged with a real estate investment trust last year. The company has interests in hotels across the country.
For the latest quarter, it reported sales of $8.9 million, down from $9.4 million the previous year.
